Taking Time for the Details

One of the things I love about going to Disney as an adult is the time I have to just walk around and appreciate the details. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending a day in the parks with my 4 year-old cousin Robert but he doesn’t really let me have a moment to take it all in. Now with the introduction of smartphones with pretty awesome cameras, I notice that a lot more of us in the Disney community are taking the time to notice the details and capture them to keep always. For example, the picture above I snapped in the lobby of Via Napoli while waiting to be seated. I mean come on?! How gorgeous is that chandelier?!

While participating in the D23 Scavenger this past May, I really learned to catch the details. Those questions made me!! But honestly, I loved it! While it was hot and some of those questions were so hard, I took the time to enjoy my surroundings. I want to share with you all some of the pictures I captured. They were taken throughout my May trip down to the World for the Scavenger Hunt & DestinationD. Some of them are really detailed and some are just appreciating the beauty of what Disney Imagineers do.     Those are some gorgeous pictures. I love that chandelier in Via Napoli and have it on my phone too!

    I think Disney puts so much thought into every little detail, they appreciate it so much when we notice!
