Everything’s Great at Everything Pop!

You know, many people think that the Value Resorts at Walt Disney World means you’re getting the bare minimum, and the “basics”, and in some respects this is a true statement.  However at Pop Century’s Food Court, Everything Pop, I think you’re getting some of the best bang for your dollar when it comes to food, especially if you’re looking for good food for not much money!

While Everything Pop has many of your regular quick service, family friendly options such as burgers, premade sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and so on, there are quite a few “hidden gems” to be found here.  They offer a Chicken Mediterranean Flat Bread sandwich, Asian Chicken Salad, as well as a Blackened Fish sandwich for adults and more adventurous younger eaters, however there’s two things on the menu that I have had at least once every time I’ve made the trip to WDW over the last couple years.

Chicken Penne Alfredo

The Chicken Penne Alfredo and Cheesesteak Wrap have become a couple of my must have’s every time I’m at Pop.  The wrap has sadly been hit or miss over the course of 3 trips, however when its good, its full of flavor, juicy and delicious.  The Chicken Penne Alfredo is possibly the best meal at Pop, and has constantly been great.  A sizable chicken breast and pasta covered with alfredo sauce, and a breadstick that could almost be a meal on its own, and you will be happy and full after eating it all.  Its always served hot and you can tell it didn’t just come out of a microwave.  If you are ever at Pop Century, I highly suggest you try this one!

Other options that set this place apart from the other Value Resort food choices are the “Mom’s Night Out” Comfort Food meals that are offered nightly.  They rotate between Southern Fried Chicken, Turkey and Meatloaf, and served in a tv-dinner tin that really adds something kinda neat that gives you that feel of the “good ol days”.  Finally, I usually go with a slice of the much talked about and very popular Tie-Dyed Cheesecake.  Its as good and rich as it sounds, and seems to be a favorite among kids and adults alike.

Have you ever been to Pop Century’s Food Court?  I’d love to hear your opinions on your experiences, so please leave a comment below!

I’ve always heard good things about the food at Everything Pop. I finally had a chance to try it for myself this past October and you’re right; there are definitely “hidden gems” to be found. I especially enjoyed their chicken soup with an Asian flair — a nice take on a comfort food item! Thanks for giving us your review!

This is a great article! On our last trip to WDW I ate the Chicken Penne Alfredo 3 times. I honestly believe this dish would be worthy to be in a regular table service restaurant. It makes me sad that we aren’t staying at Pop Century on our next trip to The World because I don’t want to miss this dish.

I have to agree. We have stayed Pop for many years now and they have the best QS food court area on property. It is awesome! Great review.

Your article is great. And I agree, food at Pop is great. We stayed at Pop our last two trips and we enjoy our breakfast there and some of the great choices and variety they offer to dinner like the steak wrap, the penne pasta and of course bacon cheese burger.
