With cruises on both the Fantasy and the Dream booked for 2012 I’ve had Disney Cruises on the brain for months. Its only getting worse since we board the Fantasy THIS Saturday! One of my favorite things about a Disney cruise is a stop (or two if you are lucky enough to be on a double dip) at the BEAUTIFUL Castaway Cay. Thought I’d share some of my favorite pictures with you all!
Here's the Disney Wonder docked at Castaway Cay. Did you know Disney is the only cruise line that doesn't have to tender to reach their private island?

One of my favorite things to do on Castaway Cay is ride bikes. Here's a view from the bike loop.

And most might think this is an odd choice - but as a 12+ year Caterpillar employee I have "yellow blood" flowing freely through my veins. I'm always checking out what equipment we make is that is currently on the island. Was thrilled to see this Cat Backhoe Loader working on the new Family Cabanas construction back in May 2010. Though I'll probably be MORE thrilled to try out a Cabana on our April 2012 Fantasy cruise!
