If you have been to Walt Disney World just once in your lifetime you are likely to remember it as one of the greatest experiences you have ever had. If you are fortunate enough to have traveled to Walt Disney World a few times or more then, you are likely to remember each trip very differently but always as an amazing vacation journey.
I have always said that no one does things better than Disney. Whether it’s the cast members creating a magical moment, the upkeep of Walt Disney World property, the beautiful grounds, the cleanliness of the parks, the food, the attractions or what ever your reasons are for going back again and again, I think we can all agree there is no place else like it. Disney goes to great lengths to tend to our needs and make the guest experience a memorable one for all its guests. While it’s the big attractions like Space Mountain, Toy Story Mania, Soarin’ and Wishes that grab our attention, it’s the little things that help separate Disney from every other place and make any vacation to Walt Disney World a tremendous and unforgettable time. So this week I have decided to share some of the little things that make me happy when I’m at Walt Disney World.
Magical Express – I included this because there is a nervous excitement when your plane lands at Orlando International Airport and you begin to make your way to the Magical Express bus service and you are greeted by the first cast member on your vacation as you prepare to embark to Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World Where Dreams Come True Sign – I can feel my stomach churning with anticipation every time I approach this sign and pass through its archway as I know my next magical Disney adventure is about to start.
Dole Whip – I don’t know if it’s because I can’t get this mouth-watering treat in New Jersey or if it’s because it is that good! But, of all the delicious and incredible snacks available on Walt Disney World property there is none I look forward to more than the Dole Whip. This non-dairy soft vanilla ice cream and pineapple ices is a perfect combination and as far as I’m concerned the perfect treat.
The Carousel of Progress – While this may not be an E-ticket attraction it is one I cherish going on each and every trip to Walt Disney World because of its direct connection to Walt who came up with the idea and concept for this attraction.
The Monorail – Whenever the monorail pulls in to the station and I hear the announcement “Please stand clear of the doors, Por favor mantenganse alejado de las puertas” it gives me goose bumps and brings an instant smile to my face.
Cast Members – The Disney cast members deserve the greatest honors of all as they do so much to put a smile on our faces and a little happiness in our heart to make certain that our vacation experience is exceptional. All it takes for a cast member to make my day a special one is to hear them say “have a magical day!”
Family & Friends – Nothing makes me happier than experiencing Walt Disney World with my family and friends as we make and share our own magical moments and memories that will last a lifetime.
