Hello Everyone! It’s time for another Little Detail for you.
Now with my Tell No Lies post a few weeks ago I wrote about Country Bear Jamboree, so this Little Detail post is to coincide with it.
Even tho I haven’t seen Country Bear Jamboree, I know that everyone has a favourite Country Bear. The name that always comes up is Big Al.
Big Al is the fattest bear of the bunch and always plays an out of tune guitar. But did you know that the beloved bear is based on show writer Al Bertino who was one of the lead writers for the Magic Kingdom.
Al Bertino started working for the Disney company in 1935. He worked on feature films such as Fantasia and Pinocchio and also worked on attractions such as Mr Toad’s Wild Ride, Haunted Mansion and of course Country Bear Jamboree. You can clearly see the resemblance between the two Al’s.
