Boo To You!

It’s that time of year again! Time for spooks, trick or treating, candy and happy haunts at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP)! MNSSHP is my absolute FAVORITE special event at Walt Disney World. I can’t get enough of the Boo-to-You parade, the Villians’ Dance Mix and Mingle and of course, Happy HalloWishes. In addition to the special party events, I really enjoy checking out all of the costumes worn by guests. Every year, we start planning our Halloween costumes for the following year the day after attending the party. It’s a big deal in our house. I’m slightly embarrassed to say that DH is the crafty one in our household. My sewing skills are subpar, to say the least. DH, on the other hand, is a regular Martha Stewart. Last year, he made me and DD these awesome Ursula and Cruella de Vil costumes.

The bar was set really high after last year’s costumes so DH had to get to work early this year. After multiple trips to our local fabric store, a few sleepless nights and a spark of inspiration, DH presented us with this masterpiece!

Pretty neat, right? Due to time constraints, he’s not able to make a costume for me this year but at least DD will be partying with Mickey and the gang in style! We are attending the party September 28th and 30th, so please say hello if you see us!
