D23 has created an exclusive membership for Disney Vacation Club members that will begin in 2013. DVC members must register on DVCmember.com for the complimentary membership. They will receive with their complimentary D23 membership access to special discounts and merchandise. The rumor was registration for this great new DVC membership perk would begin this past January. According to DVCmember.com, an email will be sent to DVC members this Spring announcing the online registration.
The complimentary D23 membership will provide a weeklyD23 FanFare email newsletter and access to the D23 website along with the ability to purchase D23 Member merchandise and eligible for select D23 discounts. In the limited amount of information that I have seen this will not include the D23 annual membership card, gift, magazine, or access to the annual D23 Expo but possibly invitations to other smaller D23 events.
