Disney Resort housekeepers or as some refer to them as “Mousekeepers” are the staff that help keep your room clean when you stay at a Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort!
Upon arriving at my room at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, I noticed an animal made out of towels sitting in my resort window. When I opened the door, there on my bed was a Hidden Mickey made out of towels. As I walked further into my room the towels on the bathroom sink were set up in a fancy display! Everything looked so pretty that I didn’t want to mess it up! These are just some of the ways the Disney housekeeping staff gets creative.
When we saw our Mousekeeper we thanked her and told her how much we liked how she set up our towels! To our surprise, for the rest of our trip, every time we came back into our room there was something different to see. In the bathroom, a towel would be set up holding our toothbrushes and another towel would be set us as a soap dish. Sometimes we would find a new animal in our window or somewhere around the room. There would also sometimes be a new display in our resort window. The biggest surprise was walking into our room and seeing our daughter’s stuffed animals set up in funny scenes on the bed and around the room!
Staying in a WDW Resort is an amazing experience. The rooms are kept immaculate and it’s nice to be on Disney Property. The housekeeping staff at the resorts are very friendly and accommodating. It’s nice to see that they take extra time when they are in your room to add these special touches. It makes the whole experience of staying at a WDW Resort even more magical! My girls loved the towel animals so much that we bought a few home with us!
