Hello everyone! Hope you are having a lovely spring. In the middle of baking a cheesecake today and my thoughts were of lunch at The Coral Reef in November with Diane. This was my first visit to Coral Reef at Epcot. Diane had eaten here many years ago with her parents. Diane loves seafood & I do too, so this was a no brainer for our table service as we had the dining plan.
The theme and decor is so nice and relaxing. The blues and coral peach colors are perfect you actually feel like you are in the ocean. There is a nice amount of different fish species in the aquarium. I could have sat there for hours just watching the fish. Now onto the food:)
Diane ordered the non-alcoholic Coconut Elixir for her drink. I had a Coca-Cola.
Diane and my (as our CM said it was so good) entree was the Mai Mai & shrimp served on jasmine rice toped with a coconut lime cream sauce. Wow it was a perfect blend of flavors. Nothing over power the other.
I picked the Jack Daniels Mouse and it was delicious!
We give this restaurant a 10 out of 10. This will be a place to eat again. After dinner we returned to the sunny afternoon and took some pictures outside of The Seas with Nemo and Friends.
Thank you for taking the time to read my articles.
Until next time have a Magical Day!
