Chicago Has Heroes and Princess in July!

Hello my friends! I hope you all are enjoying your summer!

I have some exciting news to share! I found out about 2 AMAZING events that will be performing in Chicago this month and wanted to let you know more about them!

The Marvel Experience will be recruiting Super Hero trainees at McCormick Place from Saturday, July 11th though Sunday, August 2nd.

“The Marvel Experience is an immersive, Domed attraction that features the world’s first-ever 360-degree, 3-D stereoscopic full-Dome projection theatre.  Along with the aforementioned, there is a state-of-the-art, thrilling motion ride and a “training center” that offers the opportunity for Marvel fans to actually become “part of the adventure.”

As agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in training, guests of The Marvel Experience swing with Spider-Man, smash with Hulk, fly with Iron Man and more, all in preparation for an epic battle alongside Marvel’s biggest Super Heroes in a fight against Red Skull, M.O.D.O.K. and an army of evil Adaptoids.  The Marvel Experience incorporates next-generation interactive technology including augmented reality and multi-person gaming so you can see yourself in action.  Everything happens with bleeding-edge technology and advanced computer animation. There’s nothing else like it. Not only does the audience get to join the adventure, in the end they may even become heroes themselves.

Tickets, ranging in price from $24.50 to $44.50 for the Chicago engagement, will be available exclusively through Ticketmaster at or by calling 800-745-3000. Tickets will be available on site at the box office beginning July 11. The Marvel Experience will be located in the Lakeside Center of McCormick Place in hall D2. Hours of operation vary depending on the day. For a complete schedule, visit The Marvel Experience website

“Fresh off our smash-hit, extended run in San Diego, we are more energized than ever to bring The Marvel Experience to the Windy City,” said Hero Ventures’ COO Doug Schaer and CEO Rick Licht, in a joint statement. “It’s the perfect complement to the huge hit film, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron as well as to Marvel’s Ant-Man which will be released later this summer.”

“We have specifically chosen markets, including Chicago, known for their passionate fans, which I know personally from my years of producing and promoting in these great cities” said Executive Producer Michael Cohl. “The Marvel Experience will bring excitement and innovation to Chicago which is already such an incredible entertainment destination, and we can’t wait to introduce this one-of-a-kind experience to this great city.”

Produced by Hero Ventures, this first-ever hyper-reality touring attraction will travel throughout the summer with fall dates to be announced shortly.

For the theater lovers, a famous mermaid is splashing her way across Lake Michigan and into Navy Pier!

“Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) continues its summer tradition of bringing exceptional family entertainment to Navy Pier with Disney’s The Little Mermaid, a Broadway musical adaptation of the beloved film, staged by Jeff Award-winning director and choreographer Rachel Rockwell. Based on the Hans Christian Andersen tale, the musical follows Ariel, a young mermaid that longs for a life beyond the sea. Over the course of her adventure, she defies her father King Triton, makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula and ultimately finds her home on land and happiness with the handsome Prince Eric. With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and book by Doug Wright, Disney’s The Little Mermaid features favorite songs including “Part of Your World,” “Kiss The Girl” and the Academy Award-winning “Under The Sea.”
