Mangia! Mangia!

For quite a while Walt Disney World was lacking one thing! It’s something that most enjoy and usually get a craving for while they are away on vacation.

Pizza! Now there were places that served fast food pizza before most restaurants turned to flatbreads but there was never any restaurant style pizza at the resort.  So for us,  Via Napoli in Epcot was a welcomed addition to all of the great dining options in Walt Disney World.  The large restaurant is home to three giant wood-burning pizza oven’s that have names, Etna, Vesuvius and Stromboli. They are named after three active volcanos in Italy.

The menu is quite extensive and the food is excellent. The cast members are from Italy so you really get that authentic feel, as you do in all countries in EPCOT. They are attentive and will also do their best to accommodate any food allergies. My parents enjoy the La Rossa, it’s a dark Italian beer with a foamy head. We always get a family salad and a pizza to share. There are many many toppings to choose from and something for everyone.

The restaurant and the menu can be found on the My Disney Experience app. You can make your reservation ahead of time and I highly recommend you do so as it is always sold out. They accept the Disney dining plan also. The restaurant is great for large parties, they are many long tables to accommodate many in one group. It is our families favorite and we always make sure we have a meal together here while on our trip.

So next time you are visiting Epcot put Via Napoli on your list whether it be for lunch or dinner but definitely plan ahead and ENJOY!
