How To Pop Disney Popcorn In Your Kitchen

Pretend you’re at Walt Disney World and you’ve just entered the Magic Kingdom. One of the first things you’ll notice is the aroma of freshly popped popcorn piped into the park. Some even say there is no better popcorn anywhere than that found in the Magic Kingdom. So, do you know who makes the popcorn for Disney or why it tastes so incredibly good?

On September 15, 2015, Pop Secret became the official popcorn of Walt Disney World and Disneyland replacing Orville Redenbacher.  Whether or not you noticed the switch in brands, the one thing that remains constant is that the popcorn at Disney is unbelievably great! Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to recreate Disney’s popcorn in your own kitchen? Well, perhaps you can!

First, you’ll need a popcorn popper machine. Then, pick your preference between Orville Redenbacher and Pop Secret kernels.  You’ll also need Pop-N-Lite Popcorn Oil and Flavacol Popcorn Seasoning.


Turn on your popcorn popper machine

Put in 1 Tablespoon of Pop-N-Lite Popcorn Oil

Wait a ½ minute then, add ¼ cup of popcorn kernels

In a few minutes your popcorn should done

Add Flavacol Popcorn Seasoning

Enjoy your Disney popcorn!
