While we pray for everyone in Florida, there are many people with plans to vacation at Walt Disney World this week that will be impacted by the storm. From the information I have found, if the National Hurricane Center for the Orlando area issues a warning within 7 days of your reservation arrival date, you may call to cancel or reschedule your Magic Your Way vacation package and most room only reservations that are booked directly with Disney. Free of any cancellation or change fees. Also, if you booked your air fare through the Walt Disney Travel Company, they will try to reschedule and rebook your flights. However, if your vacation includes services booked through third party providers, including air transportation, car rentals, hotel reservations, and vacation insurance you will be responsible for any cancellation or change fees, as well as, any non-refundable payments as per your agreement with the vendor. Also of importance is that any special offers and discounts applied to your initial vacation package will not apply to rescheduled vacation dates. Further, Disney’s policy does not apply to dining experiences or special events.
