Disneyland / Disney California Adventure 2017

Hello Everyone!  We are back from Disneyland/Disney California Adventure aka DCA.  It was so very Magical.  Walking back in to the park that Walt dreamt of and built all on a thought for time to spend with his girls somewhere.  It really does still bring tears to my eyes.  I was so excited walking through security and then up to the Disneyland ticket cast member to have my picture taken for our hopper passes.  To then walk through to the opening garden and to see the train pulling in to the station above.  Then walking through the arch way to the view of City Hall and the Fire Station our best family friends Stuart and Michele. It was so fantastic to have a week with them in one of our favorite places to vacation, a Disney Park. We have so much to talk about, some of the rides that have become our favorites of Disneyland or DCA.

We all stayed at the Good Neighbor Hotel named the Tropicana Inn & Suites, here are pictures of our room.  Stuart & Michele were on the same side as us.  The hotel is in the mist of being updated.  We were in the remodeled rooms.  Very nice, comfortable beds and pillows.  They accommodated me for the no feather pillows, I was so happy.  The hotel is literally right across the street from Disneyland.  You walked out to the sidewalk, turned left and walked to the light.  Crossed the street and walked through trees lining the the sidewalk.  Then you walked straight back to the security which lead to  Disneyland, Downtown Disney and DCA.

The food I ate was delicious as always in Disneyland and DCA just like in Walt Disney World.  We had many new food items to try.  They were so good, I was only disappointed once.  I even tried some different drinks over the week we were there as well. I will have restaurant and food reviews.

There were so many rides that we don’t have and so many revisits of the same rides that are also in our Be Loved Walt Disney World.  Some new were Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout, Cars Land Radiator Springs Racers and California Screamin.  Then the similar: It’s A Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion & Toy Story Mid-way Mania. And some I can’t forget to mention that I was glad we rode again in Disneyland: Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, Snow Whites Scary Adventure, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. Look for pictures in upcoming articles.

The entertainment from the parades, stage shows, fireworks, cast members performing.  I love it all.  The cast members were very nice and helpful as always.

My Fitness in the Park was a great wake up workout.  Being in DCA in the morning before all the other guests arrived was so special to me.  I again booked this with being Disney Vacation Club member.  If you are a member these classes were offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays for guests not staying on property.

The weather was warm and pleasant.  We didn’t have any rain this vacation at all.  There were some clouds but I did get a very nice tan.

We were so lucky to be able to meet up with some wonderful family friends on this trip.   It was such a pleasure to connect with everyone on our/their vacation or business trips even for a short amount of time.  It made our trip just that more Magical.
