Happy fall my friends!!!
One of my favorite activities to do while visiting Epcot is to stroll to the back of World Showcase to the American Pavilion and listen to the Voices Of Liberty.
The best place to enjoy the 15 minute performance is sitting on the floor of The American Adventure rotunda. There are also benches surrounding the rotunda if needed.
Many different songs are sung of some of America’s best loved music, including such classics as:
- “America the Beautiful”
- “This Land Is Your Land”
- “This Is My Country”
- “You Raise Me Up”
- “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”
- “Yankee Doodle Dandy”
- “Let It Go”
The Voices of Liberty is made up of 8 members who sing a-cappella. Usually there are 4 ladies and 4 gentlemen. The singer’s are clothed in 1800s Americana dress. They most often are the pre-show to The American Adventure. The Voices Of Liberty premiered in 1982 at Epcot! They also perform seasonally in special events such as the Candlelight Processional or media performances. They have also performed for 5 US Presidents.
An entire listing of songs they sing can be found on their website at http://www.libertyvoices.com/ . You can also order CDs and look up more information about the group.
I highly suggest on your next visit to Epcot to take some time to enjoy this amazing performance! You will not be disappointed!
Have a magical week my friends!
