How I Became Hooked on Disney
It wasn’t until May 1990 as a young adult that I got to experience the magic with my then fiancé, now wife. We were in Florida to attend a wedding and decided to make a vacation out of it. My wife had been to Disney World a number of times and suggested we take a little detour and visit the parks. Although our Walt Disney World vacation lasted only four days I finally got to see the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and the recently opened Disney-MGM Studios now known as Disney’s Hollywood Studios. At the time it was the best vacation I ever had and one that would profoundly change my life forever.
Favorite Disney Memory
My favorite Disney memory occurred during my family vacation in June of 2001. It was truly a magical memory that my children will never forget. We were waiting in Disney MGM Studios to meet up with my brother and his family when Snow White came out of nowhere and walked over to my children. She told my daughter she was a beautiful princess and she told my son he was a handsome prince. She asked them their names, how old they were, and where we were from. While this little impromptu visit lasted only a few short minutes to my children it was long enough to leave a lasting impression.
